the work deals with ways of healing and processing trauma through rediscovering myself in nature and deeply connecting to it. I have spent a lot of time traveling to remote places across the UK, carrying out performative meditations to understand and grow unconditional love for the spaces around me. these acts of relief were necessary for dealing with depression and the crisis of my first year of immigration to the UK. I wanted to connect with something gentle, universal, and safe, which led me to fall in love with rocky shores, the ocean, seaweed, sands, swamps, forests, and the creatures inhabiting these areas. the purpose of my work is an attempt to show the common ground and fragility of human and non-human realities.
