programmable manipulation

the project is dedicated to phenomenon of interconnection and interchangeability of artificial and natural, thoughts on synthetic organisms that already exist in our everyday reality, and the fact that their creation raises questions on social and scientific ethics. when creating such a virtual matter but with some kind of physicality and liveliness I want to think about how much now, in times of dynamic technological development, synthetic biology, genetic engineering, the concepts of "natural and artificial", "living and lifeless", "organic and inorganic" are blurred.

how can something that is grown in a sterile digital environment be alive, real and how it can affect us and our perception. these creatures are neither human nor completely machine or organic. they were made by the person and the computer, their bodies were born in digital dimension, and their life cycle was programmed according to certain algorithms. they seem to be a kind of simulation. however, does it mean that they have no fragility, vulnerability or sensuality, what is common for us.
